Commercial EV fast-charging infrastructure

We build DC fast-charging sites: the service, the switchgear, the pad, the trenching, the conduit, the terminations and the commissioning. Level 3 and Level 4, on fuel sites, fleet yards, retail and commercial property across Texas.

Our electricians hold EVITP certification — the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program. That is the credential most federally funded and utility-funded charging work requires on site, and it is not something a contractor picks up between jobs.

What we install

• DC fast chargers, 50 kW through 350 kW and up, single and multi-dispenser
• Power cabinets, dispensers and the cable management between them
• Pad-mounted and utility transformers, and the coordination to get them energized
• Service entrance, switchgear and metering
• Trenching, conduit, duct bank, pull boxes and bollards
• Site lighting, signage circuits and pavement markings
• Commissioning, load testing and handover documentation

Utility coordination is most of the schedule

On most fast-charging sites the electrical work is not what sets the date. The utility is. Service applications, load letters, transformer lead times, easements, metering, and the coordination window where a crew has to be standing there ready when the utility shows up.

We have run that process across Texas and we plan around it rather than being surprised by it. If you need a realistic date rather than an optimistic one, we will give you the realistic one.

Civil and underground

Trenching, boring, duct bank, pull boxes, pads and restoration. Sites that are open for business while you are working on them need their traffic plan thought about in advance, and their pavement put back properly afterwards.

Safety programme

Energized work on this equipment is done in arc-flash PPE to the category the study calls for, with the boundaries established and the labels applied. Our crews carry it and use it — the photographs on this page are our own people on our own jobs.

Arc-flash labeling, lockout-tagout, energized work permits and a site-specific safety plan come as part of the job, not as an extra. Electrical safety inspections.

Service and maintenance

A charging site that is down is not earning. We maintain and repair fast-charging installations — power cabinets, dispensers, service equipment and the switchgear behind them — and our service department runs 24 hours.

For general contractors and EPCs

We bid as a subcontractor on fast-charging scopes across Texas, and we are set up for the paperwork that goes with it: certified payroll where required, insurance certificates, submittals, closeout documentation and as-builts.
