Whole-home surge protection

Power strips protect one plug. A whole-home surge protective device (SPD) mounts at your panel and clamps surges before they reach anything — HVAC boards, appliances, TVs, computers, EV chargers and everything else wired into your home.

The install

We fit a properly rated Type 2 SPD at your main panel — usually about an hour of work — and verify your grounding while we're in there, because a surge protector is only as good as the ground it dumps into. Commercial SPDs for panels and equipment available too.
