Two things matter more here than almost anywhere else we install chargers: whether the service will carry it, and whether the finished job looks like it belongs on the house.
A charger install is a box on a wall and a circuit getting to it. On a lot of houses nobody cares what the route looks like. Out here people do, and they are right to.
We plan the run so it is straight, supported, and as much of it as possible is concealed. Where conduit has to be exposed we run it properly and paint it to match rather than leaving grey EMT across a brick elevation. If the tidy route costs more, we will tell you what both options cost and let you pick.
A 60 amp charger on a house that already runs three AC systems, a pool and a lot of lighting is a real addition. We calculate it, and if the panel needs upgrading first we quote that separately.

If the charger is going somewhere visible, or the run has to go outside, architectural review may apply on top of the Montgomery County permit. We will flag it before we start rather than after.
